With the release of his book Mansfield’s Book of Manly Men in 2013, Stephen Mansfield sounded the trumpet call in a cause he has cared about passionately for decades—the cause of noble manhood. For years Stephen had watched the decline of men in western culture. He heard tirades against masculinity on university campuses. He read books with titles like The Demise of Guys and Is There Anything Good About Men? He decided to challenge men to rise above their critics and to live out noble manhood—for their own sakes, for the women they love, for their children, and as a restoration of righteous manhood in their generation.
